 My Reasoning

I came up with this idea because of my childhood being spent outdoors and in nature. Growing up in a small rural town, days were spent outdoors on the lake and fishing. This is where I learned how and grew my affection for fishing. My love for this is the reason for wanting to spread my knowledge of wildlife, and also help preserve it.

Classics

Popular fish in lakes and ponds in Midwestern United States include bass, crappie, catfish, and sun fish. These are beautiful species of fish, and also wonderful to catch.

Uses

These fish are used for food, but also for fun and sport. It is a big market in the food industry all across the world, not just the United States. Also, it is a great hobby to have because it gives people time away from electronics and busy work. However, landing a fish is quite a thrill and once you have done it once, you only want more!

Relaxing

Fishing is a very relaxing hobby that can help people become more in touch with themselves and nature. This is a huge reasoning for myself starting this. Being able to be by yourself and one with nature is a calming presence for anyone to have.

Awareness

There is a problem in the United States with pollution of bodies of water. This endangers natural wildlife, along with decimating fishing spots around the United States. With money we are trying to raise, we will try to do our part to save aquatic habitats.
